It works as both. Children can climb using the rope and molded holds, or sit on the round base and use it as a rope swing, making it a useful transition station on a ninja course.

The rope is approximately 6 feet (180 cm) long, and the round base is about 12 inches (30 cm) across. The rope length is not the mounting height; set the final ground clearance according to the manual.

It can attach to a compatible Trelines line, a suitable play structure, or a healthy tree branch. For a tree installation, the manual recommends a branch about 10 inches (25 cm) in diameter and requires a load test before use.

The light system uses four AA batteries, which are not included. Replace exhausted batteries promptly and do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.

The verified age guidance is 3 years and up. The maximum user weight is 250 lb (113 kg), and only one person should use the swing at a time under direct adult supervision.

You receive the six-foot LED climbing rope swing and its attachment hardware, including the connection pieces used with a compatible line. Four AA batteries are required separately.

Inspect the rope, holds, seat, lights, battery compartment, and hardware before use. Take it down during winter or extended non-use, clean it with mild soap and water, let it dry, and store it indoors.
