The Strap Kit manual lists a maximum user weight of 500 lb (227 kg) and requires a 500 lb load test before use. The safe limit for the complete setup is always the lowest limit among the swing, branch, straps, carabiners, and any connected Trelines equipment.

They can add approximately 10 feet of total reach when both 5-foot straps are used with a compatible Trelines line, helping with tree distances over 30 feet. This is a line-extension use; never lengthen a swing's chain or rope beyond the swing manufacturer's design.

Yes. After adult installation and before play, the manual requires a 500 lb (227 kg) load-stress test on the attachment. Inspect the tree, straps, stitching, loops, carabiners, and connected equipment before each use and repeat the tree test seasonally.

Store them during extended periods of non-use and take them down for winter to reduce UV and weather damage. Replace any strap or hardware that is worn, cut, frayed, rusted, distorted, or no longer operates smoothly.
