The standard hardware is designed for a healthy trunk 12–20 inches (30–50 cm) in diameter, with at least 24 inches (61 cm) of flat mounting surface and a minimum installation height of 8 feet (2.4 m). Do not install it on a diseased, damaged, or unhealthy tree.

SkyStand provides room for swings up to 40 inches in diameter. The 40-inch Dreamcatcher and 24-inch Explorer are compatible options; the swing is purchased separately unless you choose a SkyStand bundle that lists one as included.
